Ordnance Factory board under the ministry of defence,Government of India has been released an official notification through which Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for engagement of 56th Batch (for Non-ITI & ITI candidates) of Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and amendments there of in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories. There are 6060 available,from which including 3847 ITI and 2219 Non-ITI, as part of OFB’s Skill India Mission. Please go through the below paragraphs for more details.
Educational Qualification:
For Non-ITI Category ,the candidates should have Passed Madhyamik (class X std or equivalent) as closing date of application with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and with 40% marks in Mathematics and Science each and for ITI Category,candidates who were willing to apply must
Passed relevant trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/Ministry of Labour and Employment with duration as per the Apprentice Act 1961 plus passed Madhyamik / Class X std or equivalent (Minimum 50% aggregate marks both in Matriculate & ITI).

Age Limit :
The candidates should exist between 15 & 24 years.The Upper age relaxation is by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.

Those Candidates who have already applied through the Government of India portal, www.apprenticeship.gov.in are necessarily required to re-apply through the link given on OFB website.No any other mode of application will be accepted.Candidates are requested to read the official notification carefully to read before submitting their application.Last date for Submission of Application is 09/02/2020(11.59 pm).
