The RRB Admit Card is the most important document for any railway exam, from NTPC and ALP to Group D and Technician. Railway Recruitment Boards release two documents before every CBT: the exam city intimation slip and the e-call letter (admit card). Many candidates confuse the two or download from fake websites. This guide explains how to download the RRB Admit Card correctly and what to check.
City Slip vs RRB Admit Card
| Document | Released | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Exam city intimation slip | About 10 days before the exam | Shows exam city and date for travel planning |
| E-call letter (RRB Admit Card) | About 4 days before the exam | Required to enter the exam centre |
| Travel authority (SC/ST) | With the city slip | Free railway travel for eligible candidates |
